What We Do
The Operations team is in charge of maintaining records for the chapter, whether through taking minutes, creating the scrapbook, or keeping in contact with people who support and donate to our chapter. We have a lot to do with the organization of the chapter.
VP of Operations
Howdy! I’m Julie and I am a sophomore computer science major from Dallas, TX. I am involved in Women in Engineering, University Honors, and Engineering honors. As Vice President of Operations I am responsible for the organization of the chapter. This includes creating our yearly calendar, updating chapter members through weekly emails, and organizing officer elections and transitions. I am so excited to get to serve this chapter through my work in this position!
Howdy! My name is Courtney Harris and I am a junior civil engineering major from Longview, Texas! As Operations Specialist, I am in charge of keeping detailed minutes over our weekly chapter meetings, keeping a record of attendance, writing thank-you notes, and managing points. As a member of the Operations team, I assist in ensuring efficiency in our chapter operations. I am very excited to serve this chapter I love through this role! Thanks and Gig’em!
Howdy! I am a freshman genetics major from Houston, TX. As Historian one of my main responsibilities includes designing and overseeing the production of the composite. I am also in charge of creating a scrapbook to document all of our memories of the fun events from the year!
